We are a free to use website dedicated to providing psychology professionals, students, and the general public with transparent access to psychological assessment tools. We strive to provide test questions and answers in the most streamlined possible format, through a simple interface and automatic scoring.
We use only assessments derived from scholarly psychological journals with a history of practical application. Our automatic scoring system is designed to save time, prevent human error, and demystify the scoring process. Our results include both raw scores and indicative score ranges.
We take digital privacy very seriously and strive to minimize the intrusiveness of our site on the private lives of our users. We do not collect any information for the purposes of personally identifying individual users. We use Google Analytics to discover general statistics about our pages in order to diagnose technical problems and improve resource allocation. We attempt to minimize the specificity of the data we retain; we will never sell this information to third parties, nor will we share it with law enforcement unless compelled to do so by a valid court order.
Our expenses are offset by displaying advertising on some of our pages, which we hope to keep as unobtrusive as possible. Our contextual ads are served through the Google Adsense service. The advertising displayed on our site offers useful, relevant products and services which we hope enrich, not detract from, the user experience.
We retain absolutely no direct records of test results, neither specific nor generalized. Your results will never been seen by anyone other than yourself unless you actively choose to share it. By default, all of the integrated social media widgets on our site share only a link and description of a particular test. The only way your results will be shared by social media is if you modify the default message and manually input your score data. While we encourage visitors to share our tests with each other, we urge you exercise caution when sharing such personal information in such a permanent and public medium.
Contact and personal information contained in emails or other communications will only be used for the limited purpose responding to such messages.
We are not medical or psychiatric professionals. The information provided on this website is for educational and entertainment purposes only. The assessments on this website are not intended to diagnose any disease or condition and should not be solely relied on, even by mental health or health care professionals, for this or any related purpose.
No one except a trained mental health professional can diagnose or treat a psychological condition. If you have any concerns about your health, please talk to a professional. A list of psychiatrists in your area can be found here.
While the tests on this page are reproduced as faithfully as possible, we make no warranty as to their validity or accuracy. Tests may contain typos or errors in coding which may result in incorrect scores. The scoring ranges are averages and estimates which are not universally applicable. Only direct interaction with a mental health professional can provide you with an accurate assessment of your symptoms.
Some of the questionnaires appearing on this site have been adapted from clinician or third person assessments to self assessment type models. These adapted versions may not be as reliable since the symptoms of some psychological conditions, and human nature itself, often prevents objective assessment of one's own behavior.
Where parts of original works are incorporated into our tests, we provide citations to such works, which are the respective intellectual property of their authors, publishers, academic institutions of origin, or other valid copyright holders.
Our website transforms the portions of these original works into interactive and automatically scored tests in a manner that we intend and believe to be fair use.
However, if you are a copyright holder for a work used in part on this website and you believe that use violates your copyright, please send our administrator a DMCA takedown notice via e-mail at dmca@psychology-tools.com and we will expeditiously remove the offending content.
